How do Payroll for Home works

Payroll for Home is a completely web based payroll system that has been designed to make the running of your domestic payroll simple and hassle free.

do Payroll is designed in such a way that any person without any payroll processing will be able to successfully use the system. The system is wizard driven and will guide you through the setup process and ensure that all required information has been captured to do all the processing. Register with do Payroll for Home

In order to run your domestic payroll successfully and to ensure that you are fully compliant with the relevant statutory bodies, do Payroll will require the following information from you during the setup process:

About yourself

So that we know who to contact and send reports etc to, we need…
  • Your physical address
  • Your phone number
  • Your cellular phone number so that we can send you sms reminders
  • Your ID number

About your employee(s)

For each of your domestic employees, we require the following information…
  • The employees name and surname
  • The employees ID number or passport number
  • The employees date of birth
  • The date on which the employee started working for you
  • The day or date on which you pay the employee each week or month
  • The amount of money that you pay your employee each day, week or month

About your UIF

By law, as a domestic employer, you have to be registered with UIF.

  • If you are already registered with UIF, we only need your UIF number.
  • If you are not yet registered with UIF it is not a problem. Simply select the “Please register for me” during the setup wizard and we will do the paper work and registration for you, at no cost to yourself.

do Payroll for Home Options

Two options are available to suit your needs - the Domestic Payslip Option to only take care of your basic payslip needs or the Domestic UIF option to assist your with your payslip and UIF registration and payments.

Domestic Payslip Option

The domestic payslip option will cost R10.00 per payslip.

Based on the information you submitted, a calculation will be done to determine the salary and other remuneration payable to your employee’s, calculate any tax and UIF amounts payable, prepare and deliver the pay slip to you.

Up to 5 employees can be registered per employer with this option. Should you register more than one employee during the first month the additional charges will apply.

Domestic UIF Option

This option will cost R12.00 per payslip.

Based on the information submitted, do Payroll will register the employees for UIF, calculate the salary and other remuneration payable to your employee’s, calculate any tax and UIF amounts payable, pay the UIF to the relevant statutory recipient, prepare and deliver the pay slip to you.

Up to 5 employees can be registered per employer with this option. Should you register more than one employee during the first month the additional charges will apply.
